from the repository rootsh
cd examples/reusable-notes
cargo run -p notes-api    # REST application
cargo run -p notes-report # command-line job using the same module

Notes

  • The REST application uses the framework's REST host: run it and call the routes from the workspace README.
  • The report binary prints what it created and loaded, proving the module runs with no web server involved.
  • Both callers share MemoryNotes, so state is per-process — by design for the example.
